Math Dept is a math intervention and analytics platform for high school math departments. It gives authorized school staff a shared, current picture of student progress in math and a coordinated workflow for getting struggling students the support they need.

What It Does

Classroom teachers identify students who need additional support and flag them for placement in math intervention labs. Department staff coordinate those placements, track assessment retakes and remediation progress, and monitor each student's path back to proficiency. The platform also produces grade-distribution and proficiency reports that support department analysis, PLC data discussions, and administrative review.

Who Can Use It

Access is restricted to authorized staff at participating schools. Sign-in uses Google single sign-on limited to the school district's domain, and only staff registered by an administrator can access the application. Access is role-based and scoped to each staff member's school.

Student Data and Privacy

Math Dept handles student education records in compliance with FERPA. Records are provided by the participating school or district, remain the property of the school and district, and are used solely for math intervention and department analytics. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
